Customer
The customer agrees to comply with these terms and any merchant-specific conditions when purchasing products and services through Jarcce Oy's online services.
Ordering
General Terms
Prices displayed in the online service include VAT.
We apply dynamic pricing for accommodation. Prices vary depending on the time and may change monthly, weekly, or daily.
We sell products to adults and business customers.
We reserve the right to change prices.
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
We reserve the right to modify our delivery terms. The customer must review the current delivery terms before placing an order.
Reservation Terms
These terms apply to rentable and reservable products and services, collectively referred to as "item."
Reservations
The customer is responsible for reviewing the item’s description, instructions, and related terms before booking.
A reservation made by the customer becomes binding once an order/payment confirmation has been sent to the email address provided by the customer.
The customer pays for the reservation using the selected payment method, complying with the respective terms.
The booking system sends the order/payment confirmation to the email provided.
The merchant is not responsible for unsuccessful reservations. The customer must promptly contact the merchant to resolve the issue.
The merchant does not guarantee that the item is still available in such cases.
If the item is no longer available, a refund will be issued, or an alternative item will be offered if possible.
Cancellations and Changes
The cancellation date is the day the merchant receives the cancellation notice.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the cancellation is sent in time.
If the customer cancels the reservation:
when there are 14 days or more until the reservation starts, a cancellation fee of 20% of the total reservation price will be charged.
when there are less than 14 days but at least 7 days until the reservation starts, 50% of the reservation price will be charged.
when there are less than 7 days until the reservation starts, the full reservation price will be charged.
Merchant's Right to Cancel
In the case of a force majeure event, the merchant may terminate the rental agreement. The customer will be informed of the termination without delay.
The customer is entitled to a full refund of the paid rental fee.
Costs incurred due to the termination caused by force majeure will not be compensated.
Keys
The payment confirmation will include instructions on keys and how to collect them.
If keys are lost or not returned, the owner has the right to charge all re-keying or lock replacement costs, with a minimum fee of €50.
The merchant has the right to charge at least €50 if required to open the door due to a lost or left-behind key.
Use of the Item
The item is defined in the item description.
The customer has the right to use the item, its equipment, and separately specified services during the rental period.
If the renter notices deficiencies or other issues, they must immediately notify the reservation manager.
The customer is responsible for keeping the item clean and removing waste during and after the rental period.
The customer is responsible for the final cleaning after the reservation.
If the customer fails to clean the item, the merchant will charge the full cost of cleaning: €75/h, travel costs €0.5/km, and travel time will be counted as working time.
The item is available to the customer during the time defined in the description.
Pets
The renter is fully responsible and liable for any damages caused by their pets.
Pets must be leashed in national park areas.
Pets may not be left alone in the accommodation without supervision.
Pet owners must pay special attention to cleanliness. The accommodation is always checked after a pet's stay and cleaned if necessary by the merchant.
Pet-friendly accommodations are marked separately.
The pet owner must also follow any additional specific instructions.
Special Terms for Rental Equipment
The customer must familiarize themselves with the safety and usage instructions. Equipment must be used carefully and only for its intended purpose. The renter agrees to perform a safety check during the rental period. Equipment may not be taken out of the country or sub-rented. It may only be used within the permitted scope and in conditions suitable for the user’s skill level. All equipment is used at the customer's own risk.
For water sports equipment (e.g., canoes, kayaks, SUP boards, rowing boats), the customer confirms they can swim and have previous experience using the equipment.
The customer must return the equipment at the end of the rental period to the agreed location, cleaned and in the same condition as it was when handed over. If the return is delayed, the merchant must be notified immediately. The merchant has the right to charge an increased fee of [XX]% for the extra time unless otherwise agreed.
The customer is liable for any damage or cost resulting from careless or incorrect handling or lack of maintenance during the rental. Lost or destroyed equipment must be reimbursed at replacement value. The customer is responsible for complying with transportation, safety, and other regulations. Any defects must be reported to the merchant immediately.
The merchant is responsible for normal wear and tear repairs. The merchant is not liable for any direct or indirect costs or damages resulting from the use or malfunction of the equipment. The merchant does not commit to replacing broken equipment or compensating for work interruptions.
Damage Compensation
The customer is liable for any damage caused to the item. The renter is also responsible for other visitors and any damage they may cause during the reservation.
The merchant is not liable for any inconvenience or cost caused by natural conditions such as insects, animals, thaw, or unexpected weather changes.
Complaints
Any complaints must be made as soon as possible after the issue arises.
If the matter is not resolved satisfactorily or involves a compensation claim, the complaint must be submitted in writing within one month after the rental period ends.
The merchant aims to handle complaints as quickly as possible, within one month at the latest.
If the customer and merchant cannot reach an agreement, the customer may refer the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board.
Delivery Terms
Conclusion of Agreement
A binding agreement is established once the order is confirmed (order/payment confirmation).
The confirmation will be sent to the customer via email.
Cancellation and Returns
Products have a 14-day return right under consumer protection law.
Returns are valid only if the product is in its original condition.
The product packaging must also be in saleable condition.
Please contact sales for detailed return instructions.
The right of return does not apply to engraved or personalized products, accommodation services, restaurant services, or other leisure services agreed for a specific time.
The customer is responsible for the usual costs of returns.
Product Warranty
We follow the warranty terms defined by the manufacturer or importer.
Delivery
Shipping costs include postage and packaging. You can view the delivery cost after selecting the payment and delivery method in the cart.
Payment Terms
We use reliable and secure payment service providers.
We do not store bank or credit card details at any stage.
The customer agrees to follow the terms of the selected payment method.
Payment by Invoice
The invoice must be paid by the due date indicated.
Late payments will always incur late fees. If payment is made late on the original invoice and late fees have already accrued, those fees will be billed separately.
If the payment transaction is not successfully completed at the time of ordering, the merchant will not process the order.
